COSMOLEDO FISHING REPORT WEEK 10
The tenth week of the season began with 10 anglers half of which had fished the atoll on previous trips. We experienced neap tides for most of the week and we had the anglers covering large amounts of water.
ALPHONSE FISHING REPORT WEEK 14
The first week of January was an awesome week on Alphonse bringing the festive season to a close. The tides were also in our favour with multiple surf walks producing some GTs and triggerfish.
COSMOLEDO FISHING REPORT WEEK 9
The ninth week of the season began with seven guests and spring tides. The weather for the week was predicted to be windless and hot and we are pleased that the weather did not disappoint and nor did the fish!
ASTOVE FISHING REPORT WEEK 8
Week eight on Astove Atoll started off with calm conditions and exciting spring tides. Our new group had been to the Seychelles before but it was their first time on Astove.

An extremely busy week here on Alphonse with over 80 guests. The fishing was on fire with lots of fish around.

Week six was unfortunately impacted quite a bit with the new travel restrictions that have been put in place with only five guests being able to join us.

This week marked the final week of the first part of the 21-22 season. We had six anglers join us.

Week six started off with some strong winds still blowing and some exciting neap tides going into springs at the end off the week.

The start of week five had everyone hoping that the red crab had been blown far away from the previous week’s strong winds. This week we welcomed 12 anglers from varying states in the USA.
Winter Visit
It was a great pleasure to make the short trip north to visit the Reykjavik office and the Aurora Lodge team this week.

his week was a quiet week with only a handfull of anglers visiting Alphonse Island. However, that didn’t stop them and everyone fished really well catching some great fish throughout the course of the week.

Week three started of with some nice spring tide going into some neap tides. On arrival all the gear was set up and we gave the group some tips on what to do on the water and what to expect during the weeks fishing from Astove Atoll.

What an incredible week of fishing we had this week. We were greeted by a group of guests who have been coming to Alphonse since the very beginning. This week was one of their standout weeks and was definitely a week to remember, with some incredible catches and great weather.

We had high hopes going into week three on Cosmo, we were looking forward to spring tides and hopefully, hungry fish!

It was another spectacular week here on Farquhar as again multiple target species were landed. With the weather starting to settle it made for a great week.

This week was a week to remember with countless numbers of firsts and an awesome group of guests. The Irish Party kept the guides on their toes.
ALPHONSE FISHING REPORT WEEK 7
This week’s weather tested the guides and guest with conditions ranging from perfect days, to windy days, to rainy days and with some absolute scorchers thrown in the mix as well. Dropping into the neap tides also didn’t help the cause, we did however, have a phenomenal week of fishing with some really great catches by our guests.
