EAST RANGA SEASON OPENS

The opening on East Ranga can occasionally be very good but often it’s tough fishing. Yesterday was a good start. A handful of intrepid fishers set to catching the first fish of the 2024 season and that challenge was very quickly completed. By lunch there were 3 fish landed despite a 5 degree water temperature. An overcast afternoon brought with it better fishing conditions and 5 more were landed up to 88cms. By no means a bonanza but certainly a positive start to the season.
