MAJOR SNOW AND STORMS

What a winter! Relentless snow and high winds battered Iceland for many months, causing risk to humans and livestock and damage to buildings. Fortunately (after the farmers kindly ploughed away the snow) we saw that only minor damage occurred to the Aurora Lodge, but some properties were not so fortunate so we were very grateful.
