The Young show how its done on East Ranga!

We have been working away quietly in both the UK and from our office in Iceland, helping fishers organise their fishing for the summer ahead.

Thanks to such an extraordinary 2020 fishing season with over 9000 salmon landed, East Ranga is now close to fully sold for July, August and early September, only the occasional rod is available in late August and mid September onwards. Please email Peter for information. The Aurora Lodge is in great shape, bedrooms all renovated, and we look forward to summer 2021 with great anticipation.

Similarly, the Affall, our super productive little 4 rod salmon river close to East Ranga, is now 100% sold out for 2021. Lets hope this coming season is even close to as great as 2020 was.

Holsa, our 6 bed lodge and fishing on the lower East Ranga above and below the junction with West Ranga, is filling fast but there are still some nice slots in late June (when the lower river can offer some really good fishing for larger salmon, and also from mid August. This is a wider stretch of river, with less defined pools but is often very productive for both salmon and sea trout. Holsa is also excellent value fishing, and the comfortable lodge comes with the fishing self catered or we can arrange a chef at extra charge.

It is well worth noting that whilst the wonderful Midfjardara, Sela and Hofsa rivers are also as good as sold out for the summer, there is some excellent availability on Nordura in the most prime dates, also some nice space on the productive Laxa in Dolum for example.
