Spring tides for week three brought huge excitement for the guests who had already completed one week on Cosmoledo Atoll. With lots of fish seen over the neaps, guests and guides were preparing for a great week.

It was a new experience and a first time out on Cosmoledo for two of the guests. Lance R and Graham G had a week that will definitely have them coming back. Lance landing his personal best GT of 96 cm and Graham landing multiple GTs over 80 cm. The weather didn’t really play it’s part for the week making a few species like bones and triggers tough to target in the low light, windy and rainy conditions. Despite the complicated array of weather, Justin and Matt managed Flats Slams through the week with triggers, bones and GTs for the day. Lance had a day to remember with Serge where he managed to land a magical 64 cm permit a few GTs and some bonefish for the day.

Richard C had some harsh luck with two big GTs getting away, one on a hook pull and one fish going through the 130 lbs leader. He pushed on and mid-week managed a beautiful 96 cm GT.

The week was as predicted with large numbers of fish pushing up with rays, big fish in the channels and pancakes and a wide variety of species to be targeted.
