Please forgive so many updates in a short period of time, but we are getting excited. 55 salmon were landed on 3 July and 50 yesterday, to an average of 12 rods per day. Plenty of multi sea winter salmon are running fresh, but also the first runs of grilse - although even these one sea winter salmon are ‘large’ for their year group - averaging 3-3.5kgs and in perfect fat condition. Fishing conditions are really nice, a little windy at points but warm and overcast generally.
